Based in Lengnau Switzerland, Rado was founded by the Fritz brothers in 1917. By the end of World War II, the factory was one of the largest producers of watch movements in the world.
Today the brand is best recognized for its timepieces made of high-tech materials, and innovating design. Its philosophy is “If we can imagine it, we can make it”. Its recent innovations include an ultra-slim ceramic case, the Esenza Touch crown-less touch technology, a clever travel timepiece with a touch-controlled time zone swap function, and a new chocolate-brown high-tech ceramic. Rado is part of The Swatch Group.
Five interesting facts about Rado
