Parmigiani Fleurier

The founding of Parmigiani Fleurier follows a friendship between watchmaker and restorer Michel Parmigiani and The Sandoz Family Foundation. Michel Parmigiani was entrusted with the maintenance of the Sandoz Family’s priceless collection of automata and clocks and they encouraged him over the years to start his own brand.

Parmigiani Fleurier was officially launched in 1996 with the Toric QP Retrograde that featured a bezel with alternating gadroons and knurling, a distinctive style that would go on to become one of the brand’s signature design codes. Michel Parmigiani uses the Golden Ratio in the design of both his movements and timepieces.
