This is WHO WORE WHAT, a series spotlighting the hottest wrists of the week, documenting the classic, the chic, the weird and the wonderful watches over the past seven days.

What is it about celebrities that makes us want to stop and stare and see what they’re wearing? Either way, we’re happy to oblige and gawk in awe, amaze and shock(!) at their wrists to see exactly who is wearing what. Lust over the hautest watches on celebrity wrists right now, from Euphoria stars to the SAG Awards red carpet. Take your pick!

Andrew Garfield in Omega

Taking to the red carpet at the ScreenActors Guild Awards last night in Santa Monica, celebrating the achievements of 2021, Andrew Garfield took to the floor, nominated for his stunning appearance as Rent composer in ‘tick, tick…BOOM!’ in a custom Saint Laurent pinstripe suit, complete with an Omega De Ville Prestige in 39.5mm. A merge of elegance and heritage, the model features a two-zone silver dial with Roman numerals at the 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock positions. The striking dial, with its date window at the 3 o’clock position, is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The bezel is mounted on a 39.5 mm stainless steel case, and is presented on a black leather strap, to neatly round off Garfield’s ensemble.

Angus Cloud in Rolex

SPOILER ALERT. We refuse to believe that director Sam Levinson might’ve just killed off one of the best characters in Euphoria. Counting down until series 3 in 2024 already. In the meantime while we live in hope, we’re happy to stare at these photos of Angus Cloud in a Rolex Datejust, launched in 1945 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Rolex. It was the first self-winding waterproof chronometer wristwatch to display the date in a window at 3 o’clock on the dial. It consolidated all the major innovations Rolex had contributed to the modern wristwatch until then – chronometric precision, waterproofness and the self-winding mechanism. Serving as a distraction for now, we’re manifesting #Fexi from here on out.

Nicole Kidman in Omega

The internet might still be recovering from whe Nicole Kidman sent seismic waves of applause – and memes for that matter –  through social media, donning THE Miu Miu two piece on the cover of Vanity Fair. But there’s no time to pause for Kidman, returning to the red carpet this week in a velvet floor-length Saint Laurent gown, complete with Harry Winston jewels and a mini Omega tresor. OMEGA created the exclusive MoonshineTM Gold, an 18K yellow gold alloy, in 2019. Inspired by the shining moonlight in a dark blue sky, OMEGA’s 18K MoonshineTM Gold offers a distinctive paler hue than traditional 18K yellow gold and high resistance to the fading of colour and lustre over time. Its unique composition includes silver, copper and palladium for colour and stability.
