What is it about celebrities that makes us want to stop and stare and see what they’re wearing? Either way, we’re happy to oblige and gawk in awe, amaze and shock(!) at their wrists to see exactly who is wearing what. Lust over the hautest watches on celebrity wrists right now, from Rolex to Richard Mille. Take your pick!
Jacob Elordi in Cartier
You’ll struggle to scroll through social media right now without a peep about Euphoria, and we’re not complaining about that. Keeping the internet on tenterhooks as the second season slowly draws to a close (now we are complaining) and we’re desperate to know who will win the Cassie-Maddy showdown, in the meantime, we’re content staring at Jacob Elordi and his Cartier Tank watch. Switching it up from his TAG Heuer Monaco, Elordi opted for the heritage model, with a quartz movement, in yellow gold and brown leather strap on his ascension to Hollywood heights.
Neymar in Rolex
Widely regarded as one of the best football players in the world, Neymar’s watch collection seems to be following suit. The Brazilian footballer who plays as a forward for Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil’s national team, the athlete is spotted off the pitch, more often than not, with a haute timepiece on his wrist. A favorite? His 36mm Rolex Day-Date in 18k yellow gold with a factory diamond bezel, a diamond paved dial and 10 baguette-cut rainbow sapphires. Naturally, the frosting adds a little more to the price tag, so best to keep this one off the pitch.
Charles Leclerc in Richard Mille
Now at the ripe old age of 24, Charles Leclerc made his Formula One debut in 2018 for Sauber, a team affiliated with Ferrari, for which he was part of the Ferrari Driver Academy. Not bad for under 20. Born to be a driver and enticed by his enthusiasm, Richard Mille have supported to sportsman for over a decade, wearing an RM 67-02 prototype. A thin automatic watch, with a 0.4mm thin titanium dial hand-painted in the red and white colors of Leclerc’s national flag. On Charles‘ wrist, it has helped the brand to test new technical solutions for its future models. And it comes in at a staggering 32 grams, with no obstruction to Leclerc’s need for speed.
Khaby Lame in Gerald Genta
It’s everyone’s favorite TikToker, offering our 5-a-day serving of sarcasm and irony. The Senegalese-born Italian online sensation – with a staggering 132.5 million followers – was spotted wearing a 39mm timepiece from the infamous Swiss designer, a Genius Gerald Genta ‘White Legacy’ in stainless steel with a guilloche dial, paying homage to the world of the late watch genius.
