Inspired by the “Ode to Joy” from Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, new classic and feminine Tetra Divine Spark, with square steel case (29.5 mm), copper dial and manual-winding calibre Alpha.

Divine on the wrist

Warms the heart, the wearer sparkles : Tetra Divine Spark from Nomos Glashütte is celebrating Beethoven’s 250th birthday—and it’s not just a divine spark by name, but by aesthetics too.

Tetra Divine Spark is one of a quartet of mechanical timepieces for women—together, an ensemble known as the Symphony series. With these watches Nomos Glashütte is now celebrating the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth.

This Nomos model, which lights up December in commemoration of Beethoven’s birth month, is classic and yet entirely new—and its name is a delightful clue pertaining to the occasion. Divine Spark is inspired by the opening verse of Schiller’s “Ode to Joy,” which Beethoven set to music in his 9th Symphony.

Michael Paul, the designer of this new timepiece and who gave the dial its beautiful copper shade, hopes it will bring “light and warmth” to the wrist. The color of this special hand-wound watch helps the wearer to sparkle even during the bleakest of winter days. The hands gleam in gold, the case is made of stainless steel: classic features for a classic square model.
