Combining world time and alarm functions, new Edouard Koehn World Heritage, with titanium case (42 mm), anthracite dial, black centre disc, luminous indexes and hands, self-winding calibre EK-MVTWTA01 (Concepto base calibre entirely modified for Edouard Koehn), double barrel simultaneously winding watch and alarm functions, 24-hour world time by central disc, alarm, calf leather strap. 88-piece limited edition.

The independent Swiss watch brand Edouard Koehn is continuing its flight towards new latitudes with the World Heritage model, combining World Time and Alarm functions. A rare combination on the market. Limited to 88 pieces, this contemporary classic in grade 5 titanium and anthracite dial is perfectly in tune with the times. It will be available as from October 2021.

Two useful functions for travellers, a sober and modern design: with its new World Heritage watch, Edouard Koehn reaffirms its technical expertise and its traditional roots, while broadening its horizons with this new range which complements the chronograph launched last year. In its light titanium case, with optimal acoustics, this elegant model combines two complications rarely found on a contemporary timepiece – a 24-hour world time and alarm – and totally absent in this price range – € 6,900 retail – displayed on an anthracite and black dial. The former allows you to see the time instantly all over the world; the latter, with its programmable striking mechanism, is one of the oldest horological complications.

A true technical and crafting feat, this watch, with its complex mechanism and classic sixties-inspired style, is based on authentic haute horlogerie expertise, inherited from the watchmaker Edouard Koehn, who founded his own manufacture in Geneva in 1891. Now based in the watchmaking metropolis of La Chaux-de-Fonds, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the family-owned Edouard Koehn Master Watchmaker perpetuates the expertise and the demand for quality that have defined the watchmaker’s creations since the beginning.

Offered in a limited series of 88 pieces, this first World Heritage model combines aesthetic refinement and watchmaking innovation with its latest-generation automatic movement, reworked in collaboration with an independent high-end movements’ manufacture based in La Chaux-de-Fonds.Edouard Koehn continues its exploration of watchmaking style and mechanics with this second, more classic range. The timeless design of the 42 mm diameter titanium case with sapphire back, water-resistant to 50 metres, pays tribute to the Swiss luxury watches of the 1960s. An elegance underlined by the deep colours of the anthracite and black dial, punctuated by Alpha hands and luminescent applied hour markers. The final touch is a natural calfskin strap with a folding clasp adorning this Swiss mechanical watch

The hours, minutes and seconds functions via a central hand, world time via a central 24-hour disc and an alarm are controlled by a state-of-the-art mechanical self-winding movement. The EK-MVTWTA01 calibre, with double barrel which is simultaneously winding the watch and the alarm functions is equipped with a 4Hz frequency and a 48-hour power reserve, is entirely manufactured in La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland. By adding two particularly demanding complications dedicated to travel to the hours, minutes and seconds functions, Edouard Koehn reveals with his new World Heritage model a vision resolutely turned towards the future.
