The Edouard Koehn Tempus 1 Chronograph, takes on new attributes for this special “Spirit of Russia” series, limited to 100 pieces and dedicated to the Russian market. This remarkable steel skeleton chronograph displays the three colours – white, blue and red – of the national flag on its open-worked counters, punctuated by applied indexes and luminescent skeleton hands. An ultra-modern look, imbued with traditional watchmaking roots, is fully expressed by the studied design and complex mechanics of the Tri-Compax Tempus I “Spirit of Russia” Chronograph.

With this exclusive series dedicated to Russia, Edouard Koehn demonstrates his spirit of openness to the world and his art of personalization, a prerogative of fine watchmaking. The sporty-chic lines of the 43 mm faceted case, water-resistant to 100 metres, pay tribute to the first luxury sports watches of the 1970s. Made of 316L steel, topped by a ceramic bezel, the whole displays a very contemporary dynamism, underlined by the tricolour tones of the open-worked counters and flange, punctuated by luminescent skeleton hands. The skeletonization of the dial highlights the semi open-worked and finely grained upper bridges of the movement, while the sapphire case-back, secured by eight screws, is adorned with the Russian coat of arms: a majestic double-headed eagle with two crowned heads.

The hours, minutes, seconds, 60-second chronograph functions via a central hand, 30-minute and 12-hour counters, as well as the date at 4.30 o’clock, are controlled by a state-of-the-art mechanical self-winding movement: the Tri-Compax EK-CHR-MVT01 chronograph, based on the Concepto 2000, comprising 245 components and a ceramic ball-bearing oscillating weight. This latest-generation automatic chronograph, developed with an independent Manufacture of high-end mechanical movements based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, is manufactured and assembled in the great Swiss watchmaking tradition, guaranteeing a superior level of quality and precision.

The final touch is an integrated vulcanised rubber strap that underlines the exclusive character of this high-end Swiss chronograph, produced in a limited series of 100 pieces.
